1. About Rüut Glazing

Rüut Glazing specialises in supplying and installing premium aluminium glazing solutions, including windows, doors, bifold doors, sliding doors, rooflights, entrance doors, gable windows, and related glazing products for residential and commercial properties.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, requesting a quotation, placing an order, or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

3. Quotations

  • All quotations are provided free of charge unless otherwise stated.
  • Quotations remain valid for 30 days from the date issued.
  • Prices may change after the quotation expires due to material, supplier, or market price fluctuations.
  • A quotation does not constitute a legally binding agreement until accepted by both parties.

4. Orders

  • Orders become confirmed once accepted by Rüut Glazing and any required deposit has been received.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring all measurements, specifications, colours, finishes, and product selections are accurate before approval.
  • Any changes requested after production has commenced may result in additional costs and extended lead times.

5. Measurements

Where measurements are supplied by the customer, Rüut Glazing cannot accept responsibility for products that do not fit due to inaccurate dimensions.

If we carry out a professional site survey, our measurements will be used for manufacturing purposes.

6. Payment Terms

  • Deposits may be required before manufacturing begins.
  • The remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule.
  • Late payments may result in delays to manufacturing, delivery, or installation.
  • Ownership of all goods remains with Rüut Glazing until full payment has been received.
  • 50% deposit payment + 40% 1st day of installtion + 10% after finished.

7. Manufacturing

Many of our products are manufactured to order.

Because products are custom-made to customer specifications:

  • Manufacturing cannot begin until final approval has been received.
  • Once manufacturing has started, cancellations or modifications may not be possible.
  • Minor manufacturing tolerances are normal and do not constitute defects.

8. Delivery

We aim to deliver products within the estimated timeframe provided. However, delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by:

  • Manufacturing schedules
  • Supplier delays
  • Transport disruptions
  • Weather conditions
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Rüut Glazing will not be liable for losses resulting from reasonable delivery delays.

9. Installation

Where installation services are provided:

  • Safe and reasonable access to the property must be available.
  • The work area should be cleared before installation begins.
  • Additional work required due to unforeseen site conditions may incur extra charges.
  • Customers should inspect the completed installation and report any concerns promptly.

10. Product Appearance

Natural variations may occur in:

  • Aluminium finishes
  • Powder coating
  • Glass appearance
  • Surface texture
  • Manufacturing tolerances

These variations are considered normal and are not regarded as product defects.

11. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information.
  • Approve drawings and specifications before manufacture.
  • Ensure access is available on agreed installation dates.
  • Make payments on time.
  • Notify us promptly of any concerns regarding products or services.

12. Warranty

Rüut Glazing aims to provide products of the highest quality.

Manufacturer warranties may apply to selected products and components.

Warranty coverage does not include damage resulting from:

  • Misuse
  • Accidental damage
  • Improper maintenance
  • Alterations by third parties
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Extreme weather or environmental conditions beyond product specifications

Full warranty details are available upon request.

13. Returns & Cancellations

As most products are manufactured specifically for each customer:

  • Custom-made products cannot normally be returned unless faulty or incorrectly supplied.
  • Cancellation after manufacturing has commenced may incur charges.
  • Standard items (where applicable) may be subject to separate return conditions.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rüut Glazing shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Loss of profits
  • Business interruption
  • Delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

15. Website Information

While we make every effort to ensure information on our website is accurate, we do not guarantee that all descriptions, images, specifications, or pricing are free from errors.

We reserve the right to update or correct information without prior notice.

16. Intellectual Property
